Permitted Modifications
Enhancing your home is a great way to show community pride. The following types of changes are generally allowed with prior written approval from the office:
Porch Expansions
Extend or update your porch within approved size and safety guidelines.
Steps & Ramps
Improve access with safe, code-compliant steps or ramps.
Garden Beds & Landscaping
Add flowers, shrubs, or small garden beds that are well maintained and stay within your lot lines.
Edging & Low Borders
Use short, decorative edging or low borders to define planting areas without enclosing the yard.
Exterior Lighting & Decor
Personalize with tasteful lighting, planters, flags, and other decor that does not block walkways or create glare for neighbors.
Storage Solutions
Use approved storage sheds or integrated storage boxes that match your home and follow size and placement rules.

Green Space
- Prospective porches allow front decks maxed at 6x8 and rear decks at 4x4, tailored specifically to your lot.
- Choose plants with small, shallow root systems only. Deep or thick-rooted trees and shrubs are not permitted to protect underground utilities and nearby homes.
Shed Styles
Prohibited
- Custom wooden sheds up to 8x10 are permitted to match your siding once a formal design request is approved.
- Prohibited Items
• No lot or yard fencing
• No pools (including inflatable or temporary)
• No resident-poured concrete pads, walkways, or driveway extensions
• No large play structures or trampolines
• No metal carports or similar metal structures
